Megan Smith, the face behind Root Source Nutrition, is a UK Registered Dietitian.
About
Megan grew up in South Africa, a country facing huge inequalities, which influenced her passion for growth and inspiring change. Supporting health and well-being through education has been central to her work.
She has worked with many volunteer organisations, charities and social enterprises over the past decade, such as; Square Food Foundation, Family Action, Young Bristol, Enactus and the OVO Foundation.
As a UK registered dietitian working full-time in the NHS in Mental Health, she offers freelance work to improve access to credible nutrition information. The value of practical, evidence-based information can improve people's mental health and well-being, significantly improve quality of life, and reduce the risk of diet-related disease (the top cause of mortality globally).
If you're an organisation that wants to add value to the people you work with, let's work together to improve their health and wellbeing. Get in touch to discuss how we can best support you.
